Jobber pricing (2026): what a 1-, 5-, and 8-person shop actually pays

Small Shop Fit is an independent publisher. Not a software vendor.
Updated 29 Aug 2026 (MDT). Every dollar on this page is from Jobber’s official pricing page unless an editor note marks EVIDENCE.

Affiliate disclosure. Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you buy through them, Small Shop Fit may earn a commission. That does not change the list prices. We are not approved for Jobber’s partner program yet; trial links are placeholders. Read the full affiliate disclosure.

Housecall Pro’s list, at the same crew sizes: Housecall Pro pricing (2026). Side-by-side year-one math: Jobber vs Housecall Pro.

What you should budget (post-promo annual)

Jobber’s pricing page still showed a dated intro on 29 Aug 2026: “Save up to 40% Offer ends Aug 31.” The tables below use the regular annual rate — the “then $X/mo billed annually” figure — not the first-12-months wizard prices ($21 / $70 / $105 / $280). After 31 Aug 2026, re-check the live page. Do not budget Core at $21/mo unless that page still says so.

Year-one subscription = official per-month rate × 12. Card and bank processing sit on top. Sales tax is excluded on Jobber’s page.

Jobber does not publish an 8-user SKU. An eight-person shop sits between the 5-user and 10-user bundles. The 10-user Connect annual rate ($229/mo, $2,748 year one) is the lowest published subscription that covers eight logins on the public list.

How Jobber bills

Three options, all from the pricing FAQ (FACT):

OptionWhat Jobber publishes
Monthly (no commitment)Cancel anytime. Ends at the end of the current billing period.
Monthly (1-year commitment)12-month minimum, billed monthly. Cancel mid-year and you keep paying until term end.
Annual (prepaid)Billed in full at the start. Cancel mid-year: access continues to term end; initial payment non-refundable.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless set to non-renew. All prices USD. “Subscription plan prices exclude sales tax where applicable.”

The pricing UI also showed 3-month intro rates on month-to-month and 1-year-commitment columns on 29 Aug 2026. Those intros are part of the same “Offer ends Aug 31” promo. This guide does not treat them as the ongoing rate.

Plans and what is on the feature list

Plan copy is from /pricing/ (FACT). Feature gates below are the pricing-page lists, not a vendor blog.

Core — “For the pro who wants to build and grow their business on one easy-to-use platform.” 1 user. Larger teams: “Let’s chat.”

Every plan (Core and up): book and schedule jobs online; professional quotes; invoices and online payments; professional website; built-in reporting; 100+ marketplace apps; client manager / client hub / requests / online booking; 1-on-1 product support (chat, phone, email); mobile app (iOS/Android; Spanish for non-admin team members).

Connect — “For pros who want to automate tasks and turn repeat work into more 5-star visits.” All Core plus: automated client reminders; automatic payments; checklists; automated quote/invoice follow-ups; QuickBooks Online sync; time and expenses.

Grow — “For contractors who want to win bigger jobs and grow more profitably.” All Connect plus: visual quotes (images, reviews when the Reviews add-on is on); optional line items / markups; automatic time tracking; job costing; two-way SMS (US, Canada, UK); custom automation builder.

Plus — “For teams who want to scale complex operations…” All Grow plus: files and media library; team @mentions; automated job costing; Pipeline; Marketing Suite; AI Receptionist; dedicated onboarding; Premium Support. Smallest published Plus SKU is 5 users.

If you need job costing on the public list, that line is Grow, not Core. Housecall Pro lists job costing on Basic. That split is on Jobber vs Housecall Pro.

Extra users

Editor note (EVIDENCE): Jobber’s own comparison page (jobber-vs-housecall-pro, “Prices last verified August 2026”) says “Additional user pricing $29/month” and “Teams of 16+ can contact sales for custom pricing.” Use $29 only as that first-party evidence, not as a /pricing/ FACT. This guide does not build a year-one column on $29.

Housecall Pro prints extra-user fees on /pricing/ (Essentials +$100/mo, MAX +$75/mo). See Housecall Pro pricing.

Card and bank processing (every plan)

FACT, same rates on all four plans, pricing:

MethodFeeJobber’s line
Credit card (online)2.9% + 30¢“Customers can pay their invoice online using any major credit card. Available in the US, Canada & UK.”
Tap to Pay2.7% + 30¢“Get paid on the spot through the Jobber Mobile app—no extra hardware needed.”
Bank payments (ACH)1%“Available in the US.”
Instant payoutsadditional 1%“Get paid out in seconds, even on weekends and holidays, for an additional 1% fee.”

Tip collection: card rates apply. Automatic payments: card rates apply (US and Canada). Processing is not in the year-one subscription column.

Housecall Pro’s headline is “as low as 2.59%”; bank payments 1%. Full HCP rate card is help-center EVIDENCE on the Housecall Pro pricing guide.

Published add-ons

FACT, pricing. Included on Plus; sold on lower plans:

Add-onPriceJobber’s line
Marketing Suite$99/mo“Put your marketing on a plan.”
Jobber AI Receptionist$29/mo“Never leave a call or text unanswered again.”
Pipeline$49/mo“Don’t let hard-earned leads go cold.”

Onboarding “value” callouts on Jobber’s compare table are labeled values, not necessarily paid SKUs: White glove onboarding Unlimited / $599 value (Plus); 3 sessions up to 3 hours; 2 sessions up to 2 hours; API Tour $99 value; Premium Support $99 value; Data Import $499 value.

Free trial

FACT, FAQ:

“For 14 days you get full access to all of Jobber’s features on the Grow plan—no credit card required. When you’re nearing the end of your trial we’ll send you a reminder to enter your billing information… If your account does expire before you enter your billing information don’t worry, nothing will be deleted.”

The trial is Grow, not Core. Use the two weeks to see the high plan, then buy the SKU that matches headcount.

Housecall Pro’s trial is 14 days on MAX, no card, no long-term contract.

What this means at 1, 5, and 8 people

Solo. Core at $29/mo annual ($348 year one) is the lowest published Jobber subscription. It covers quotes, invoices, online booking, a website, and reporting. It does not include QBO sync (Connect), job costing (Grow), or two-way SMS (Grow). Connect for one user is $99/mo annual ($1,188). Grow for one user is $149/mo annual ($1,788) — the same year-one subscription as Housecall Pro Essentials at five users, and more than Housecall Pro Basic at $708.

About 5 users. Connect at $149/mo annual ($1,788) is the mid-tier sticker. It ties Housecall Pro Essentials at five users on annual billing. See the flagship table; posts that say Jobber is always $20–40 cheaper are wrong at this tier. Grow at 5 is $229/mo ($2,748). Plus at 5 is $399/mo ($4,788) and is the first plan that bundles Marketing Suite, Pipeline, and AI Receptionist.

About 8 users. No 8-user SKU. Budget against the 10-user Connect ($229/mo annual, $2,748) or 10-user Grow ($299/mo, $3,588). Housecall Pro MAX includes 8 users at $299/mo annual ($3,588). That is a feature comparison, not a quality score — MAX publishes route optimization and Recurring Service Plans; Connect does not list those on /pricing/.

If the shop is leaving the 1–10 band, or a sales rep is quoting per technician, use Jobber vs Housecall Pro vs ServiceTitan. ServiceTitan does not publish a list price. We will not invent one.

FAQ

Is $29/mo the real Core price?
It is the regular annual rate on the official pricing page as of 29 Aug 2026 (1 user). Month-to-month Core is $49. The $21 first-year wizard price was the promo that the page said ended 31 Aug 2026.

Does Jobber charge per extra tech?
Not on /pricing/. Bundles are 1 / 5 / 10 / 15. The $29 extra-user line is EVIDENCE from Jobber’s comparison page.

What about processing?
2.9% + 30¢ on online cards, 2.7% + 30¢ Tap to Pay, 1% ACH in the US, +1% instant payouts. Same on every plan.

Do I have to prepay a year?
No. Jobber sells month-to-month with no commitment. Annual prepaid is cheaper per month and is not refunded if you leave early.
