Housecall Pro pricing (2026): base plan vs add-ons at real crew sizes
Small Shop Fit is an independent publisher. Not a software vendor.

Jobber’s list, at the same crew sizes: Jobber pricing (2026). Side-by-side year-one math: Jobber vs Housecall Pro.
What you should budget (annual list)
Year-one subscription = official per-month rate × 12. Card and bank processing sit on top. Sales tax is excluded: “All prices are in USD and are exclusive of sales tax. Sales tax may apply depending on your state of residence.”
| Plan | Users included | Extra users | Annual (per mo) | Year-one (× 12) | Month-to-month | Year-one if monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 1 | not stated on /pricing/ | $59/mo | $708 | $79/mo | $948 |
| Essentials | 5 | +$100/mo each | $149/mo | $1,788 | $189/mo | $2,268 |
| MAX | 8 | +$75/mo each | $299/mo | $3,588 | $329/mo | $3,948 |
At ~5 users on annual billing, Essentials ties Jobber Connect at $149/mo ($1,788 year one). On month-to-month at that size, Essentials ($189) is $10/mo lower than Connect ($199). See the flagship table.
Worked extra-seat examples (FACT, /pricing/):
| Shop | Math | Annual list | Year-one (× 12) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials at 6 users | $149 + $100 | $249/mo | $2,988 |
| Essentials at 8 users | $149 + ($100 × 3) | $449/mo | $5,388 |
| MAX at 8 users | 8 included | $299/mo | $3,588 |
| MAX at 10 users | $299 + $75 + $75 | $449/mo | $5,388 |
At 8 users, MAX ($299, 8 included) is a lower list than Essentials plus three extra seats ($449). Those plans are not feature-matched.
Sources: housecallpro.com/pricing, retrieved 29 Aug 2026. Housecall Pro’s canonical AI page restates the same three-plan list “as of July 2026” (llm-info).
The pricing page is quiz-driven and also contained $XX/mo placeholders. Locked numbers on this guide are only those that appeared as real dollars on /pricing/ and/or the official LLM page. We do not fill $XX.
What the FAQ actually says about contracts
FACT, /pricing/ FAQ:
“Try 14 days free. No credit card required. Cancel anytime.”
“Housecall Pro does not require long-term contracts.”
“Basic covers the essentials, Essentials adds tools for growing teams, and MAX is built to scale. Add-ons and extra users are optional, so you only pay for what you need.”
FAQ: upgrade anytime; downgrade at period end. Cancelling is described as simple. There is no named 1-year-commitment monthly SKU the way Jobber publishes one.
Plans and what is on the feature list
FACT, /pricing/.
Every plan: live phone and chat support; free iOS/Android app (English and Spanish); card processing as low as 2.59%; business and consumer financing access; offline viewing; “AI team members to automate your work”; community.
Basic: online booking; invoices and payments; scheduling and dispatching; quotes and proposals; review management; price book; job costing; payments and consumer financing.
Essentials adds: routes; flat-rate pricing; checklist automations; photo reports and annotations; employee GPS tracking; commissions; QuickBooks Online sync.
MAX adds: Sales proposal tool ($40/mo value); Recurring Service Plans; route optimization; open API access; dedicated onboarding specialist; escalated phone support.
Job costing and a price book are on Basic. Jobber holds job costing for Grow. That is why Basic at $59/mo annual can still be the right Housecall Pro SKU for a solo who needs those lines, even though Core is the cheaper Jobber sticker. Full split: Jobber vs Housecall Pro.
Editor note (conflict), extra users: The pricing page lists extra users on Essentials (+$100/mo) and MAX (+$75/mo). The llm-info page says “Additional users are available on the MAX plan.” Prefer the pricing page.
Editor note (conflict), industry pricing: Jobber’s comparison page says Housecall Pro “pricing varies by industry” and prints ranges (Basic $59–$79, Essentials team $149–$299, MAX team $299–$649, extra users $35–$100). Those ranges are not on Housecall Pro’s pricing page. This guide uses the /pricing/ list.
HVAC, plumbing, and electrical shops: Housecall Pro’s llm-info page names a Mechanical Package with “different pricing” and no dollar on that page. Help articles say “For current pricing, see the … Industry Page or pricing.” The HVAC industry page FAQ does print HVAC-package dollars that do not match /pricing/; that conflict belongs on HVAC software for small shops. We will not lock a Mechanical Package rate as the general list.
Franchise / multi-location: “special offers” / “customized pricing.” FACT, no published rate.
Card and bank processing
FACT, /pricing/ FAQ: “A 1% fee is applied to bank payments, and card processing fees start at 2.59%.” “Deposit checks for no fee through the mobile app.” Headline on the plan cards: “Card processing rates as low as 2.59%.”
Editor note (EVIDENCE), Housecall Pro rate card: The plan page does not break out every card path. Housecall Pro Help, “Housecall Pro Payment Processing Options,” written by Nate H, 20 July 2026 (help article):
| Method | Fee |
|---|---|
| Standard cards via reader or Tap to Pay | 2.59%. Tap to Pay +$5 per active device per month |
| Standard cards entered online by the customer | 2.99% |
| Standard cards entered manually / scanned / card on file | 3.49% |
| Amex and commercial / corporate / business cards (any method) | 3.49% |
| ACH / bank transfer | 1% |
| Instapay | +1% |
| PayPal and Venmo on invoice | 2.99% |
| PayPal Pay Later / Klarna | 4.99% |
| Consumer financing | Starting at 3.9% |
| Mobile check deposit | Free (1–4 business days) |
“As low as 2.59%” is the in-person standard-card rate, not the online invoice rate. We are not running a sample-revenue year-one with processing mixed in. That would be an example, not a measurement.
Jobber’s published card rate is 2.9% + 30¢ on every plan. Jobber pricing.
Add-ons: published dollars vs named-with-no-price
The pricing page names CSR AI, Pipeline, Payroll, Accounting, Campaigns, Voice, Websites, VGPS/Dashcams, and others under “Get more done” without dollars.
Where a first-party page we fetched actually prints a dollar:
| Add-on | Price | Label | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sales Proposal Tool | $40/mo on Basic and Essentials; included on MAX | EVIDENCE | Estimating software FAQ. Pricing page lists it as a “$40/mo value” on MAX. |
| Campaigns Advanced | Basic $9/mo (150 SMS / 500 email); Essentials $19/mo (350 / 1,500); Max $49/mo (1,000 / 5,000); Max+ $89/mo (5,000 / 15,000). US only. Overage fee “small” — no rate. | EVIDENCE | Campaigns overview, written 17 July 2026 |
No published dollar on the pages we fetched:
- Recurring Service Plans / Membership Plans (listed as add-on or MAX-included)
- Pipeline (paid add-on on lower plans; bundled on MAX / some industry packages)
- CSR AI 24/7 call answering — AI Team page: Marketing / chat CSR / Analyst / Coach / Help AI included; CSR AI call answering is a paid feature, dollar not published
- HCP Assist (live answering): “Pricing varies based on your coverage needs”
- Payroll, Accounting, Business Coaching, Voice, Websites, VGPS/Dashcams
Do not budget those as $0. Do not invent a number.

Jobber’s trial is 14 days on Grow, no card.
What this means at 1, 5, and 8 people
Solo. Basic at $59/mo annual ($708 year one) is the entry list. It is more than Jobber Core ($348) and less than Jobber Grow ($1,788) — and Grow is where Jobber puts job costing. If Core covers the work, Jobber is the cheaper subscription. If you need job costing, a price book, review management, and consumer financing on the first plan, Basic is the published Housecall Pro answer.
A one-person shop that needs QuickBooks Online sync pays for Essentials on this list (five seats, $149/mo annual). Jobber publishes QBO on Connect for one user ($99/mo annual).
About 5 users. Do not pick on the $149 number. Essentials and Jobber Connect list the same annual rate. Decide on the published extras: routes, flat-rate pricing, GPS from the phone, commissions, photo reports (Essentials) versus automated reminders, auto-pay, checklists, QBO, time and expenses (Connect). The next extra login on Essentials is +$100/mo (FACT).
About 8 users. MAX at $299/mo annual ($3,588) includes eight people and is the plan that publishes Recurring Service Plans, route optimization, the sales proposal tool, and open API access. Jobber Grow for 10 users is also $299/mo annual — same sticker, different included heads and different feature list.
If a sales rep is quoting per technician, use Jobber vs Housecall Pro vs ServiceTitan. ServiceTitan does not publish a list price.

FAQ
Is Basic really $59?
$59/mo is the annual list for one user. Month-to-month Basic is $79. Both are on /pricing/ as of 29 Aug 2026. The LLM page restates the same figures “as of July 2026.”
Why do some pages show different Housecall Pro prices?
Jobber’s comparison page prints industry ranges that Housecall Pro’s pricing page does not. HVAC/plumbing/electrical packages are described as different pricing; see the HVAC hub. This guide locks /pricing/.
Do extra users cost $100?
On Essentials, yes, +$100/mo each (FACT). On MAX, +$75/mo each (FACT). Basic is a 1-user plan on the public list.
Am I locked into a year?
Housecall Pro says no long-term contract. Annual billing is a lower per-month rate, not a Jobber-style prepaid non-refundable term on the FAQ we fetched.
